Please
Read: Clients when you ok
your design and have it in your posession there will be a charge
for any changes. I welcome and thank you for your business but no
more freebies. I strongly suggest you read this whole page.
Consultation:
Before we begin work on your site
we will meet with you to learn more about your business and to determine
exactly what you need to get your business online. We will use any
available promotional materials that you already have (i.e. letterhead,
business cards, brochures, catalogs, etc.) to design a site that
complements the designs you are already using.
New
Sites: We will
custom design a complete web site to represent your business or
organization on the web. Many design companies have 'cookie cutter'
web sites that they will sell you. Basically they just insert your
information into a template and your site basically looks like every
other site they design. Our web sites are uniquely designed to fit
your business, your business needs, and to serve your customers.
Existing
Sites: If
the design of your current web site is outdated, not working, or
just needs a face lift, we can usually have a revised web site up
and running in just a short time.
Site
Maintenance: If
your site needs to be updated on a regular basis (i.e. daily, weekly,
monthly,...) We can keep the commitment that you need to have it
updated in a timely manner. We even offer maintenance agreements
to help keep your web site maintenance costs to a minimum.

Clients
have feedback for the designer, it's critical to request it from
the client in the form of an email or notepad. This does two important
things:
1. It makes the client focused and collect their ideas in a cohesive
manner.
2. It provides a clear written reference detailing what they would
like to see.
16 Common Misunderstandings...
1. When will the site be completed?
2. How many pages will be produced?
3. How much will the site cost?
4. When will payments be due?
5. "Feature Creep" is not free !!
(i.e can you just add one more, a month later change this....)
6. How much work is involved in the "Small Things".
7. The number of different designs the client will see?
8. The degree of content on individual pages?
9. Assumptions about what features will be included in the initial
site development?
10. The extent to which the client is allowed to rewrite the text
they submit?
11. Forgetfulness (i.e. oh i didnt remember you saying that).
12. When the client's text, photos and other content is due?
13. When the client is scheduled to provide feedback to a design?
14. Who is responsible for proofing the finally design?
15. The extent of changes a client can make after the site is
finished?
16. Who is going to update and maintain the site, and how often?
*Read the fine print....lol
